NSW State Online Individual

The NSW State Indiviual will be held online on the BBO platform on Saturday July 30 commencing at 10am. ALL players are welcome to enter but only those with a home club in NSW will be eligible to win the title.

The scoring is normal matchpoints, but your partner and opponents are different each round. Depending on the size of the field, you play with or against most of the other players. Everybody is playing the same system. It's a fun competition without the hassle of arranging a partner and is also a great opportunity to meet people from around the state!

COVID-19 and our ANC Teams

The NSWBA has developed a contingency plan if any of our team members get COVID-19 or flu in the week before the ANC and are unable to represent NSW.

We require a list of emergency replacements for the Open, Women's and Seniors' teams. The ANC dates are Sunday 3rd - Thursday 7th July. If you are prepared to fly to Adelaide at short notice, please email events@nswba.com.au specifying the team(s) for which you wish to be considered. Applications from both pairs and single players are acceptable. Seniors must be born before 1/1/1961. If required in Adelaide, replacements will receive the standard ANC Team grant to help cover flight and accommodation costs.

If team members get sick during the ANC, we are allowed to use substitutes. If you will be in Adelaide during the ANC dates and are available to be a substitute, please let us know.

National Volunteer Week

The ABF applauds all of our amazing volunteers giving so freely of their time.

This year's National Volunteer Week theme is 'better together'. Volunteering at club, state, or national level is widespread and diverse with thousands of players volunteering every year. Bridge in Australia could not function without the loyalty and patronage of our wonderful volunteers.
