A Month for Champions

The chilliness in June couldn't cool the passion of our congress players! Following the popular Les Longhurst Teams of Three fun event by end of May, different pairs and teams congresses were held all over NSW in June by Nambucca Valley Bridge Club, Illawarra Bridge Association, Newcastle Bridge Club, Wollstonecraft Bridge Club, Kings & Queens Bridge Clubs and the North Shore (Willoughby) Bridge Club. Les Longhurst Teams of Three

– an annual fun 6-round Swiss Teams State Event hosted by Sydney Bridge Centre. Want to have some fun again? Enter online now for their Winter Teams Congress this Sunday on the 5th July.

The North Shore (Willoughby) Super Congress
– the three-day-event of Open Teams, Swiss Pairs and Novice & Restricted Teams, attracted over 160 tables.

This last month, our revolving writer Rakesh Kumar went to the Wollstonecraft Teams Congress on the 14th June, and elaborated the importance of making a plan with the hands that day. Do you know how to react correctly when your partner misinterpret your bid to the opponents?
