2016 Interstate Teams Selection
The NSWBA Interstate Teams Selection events will have a slightly different format next year.
All ITS events (Open, Women's, Seniors' and Youth) will be stand alone pairs events with IMP-based scoring.
The Open will still be 3 stages, but each stage will be slightly shorter than before.
The Women's event will be held on a single weekend. Women are encouraged to try and qualify for the Open Team first.
The Seniors' event will be held on a single weekend. Seniors are encouraged to try and qualify for the Open and/or the Women's Team first.
The full 2016 ITS Supplementary Regulations will be posted on the Tournament Regulations page in due course.
2016 Dates and Eligibility
Open ITSStage 1 - 3 sessions on Monday at 19.30 February 1, 15 & 29 - open entry
Stage 2 - 3 sessions on Monday at 19.30 March 7, 21 & April 4 - contending pairs only
Stage 3 (Final) on Sat 9 and Sun 10 April
Women's ITSStage 2 - 3 sessions on Monday at 19.30 March 7, 21 & April 4 - contending pairs only
Stage 3 (Final) on Sat 9 and Sun 10 April
Sat 16 and Sun 17 April
Seniors' ITSSat 14 and Sun 15 May - for players born before 1st January 1958
Youth ITSSun 15 May - for players born after 1986. Only those born players after the 31st December 1990 are eligible for the team.
