There are many benefits associated with becoming an affiliated club.
-
Affiliation with the ABF and the NSWBA allows a club to organise congresses and
to participate in the masterpoint scheme, thus being able to allocate red
masterpoints to its special events, green masterpoints to its regular
duplicates and gold points if the Club participates in the Grand National Open
Teams (GNOT) qualifying.
-
An affiliated club becomes part of the mailing list of the ABF and receives
regular newsletters, as well as the yearly congress calendar.
-
An affiliated club can take advantage of the blanket
Public Liability Insurance
provided by the ABF.
-
An affiliated club also provides members access to the NSWBA run events such as
the Interstate Teams Selection, State Teams Championships, State Pairs
Championships and State Mixed Pairs Championships
